Le nuove forme del piano: conoscenza, metodi e strumenti per favorire la trasformazione adattiva delle città e dei territori

Abstract

Di fronte alle crescenti pressioni climatiche e ambientali, la pianificazione urbanistica si trova davanti a un bivio: proseguire con strumenti e pratiche tradizionali o assumere un ruolo centrale nella trasformazione adattiva dei territori. Il Focus esplora come le ‘nuove forme del piano’ possano superare logiche convenzionali, integrando obiettivi di adattamento e mitigazione in modo sistematico e trasversale, avvalendosi di quadri conoscitivi avanzati e di metodi innovativi che integrano strumenti regolativi, progettuali e partecipativi. Dalla gestione del suolo come infrastruttura ecologica attiva all’adozione di strategie di invarianza idrologica, emerge l’urgenza di un approccio olistico e intersettoriale. I contributi evidenziano la necessità di aggiornare le ‘cassette degli attrezzi’ del pianificatore, promuovendo nuove forme e strumenti dell’agire urbanistico orientati alla resilienza dei territori e capaci di tradurre la consapevolezza ecologica in azioni concrete per un futuro sostenibile.
