Abstract

During the Autumn General Assembly of 2023, the ECTP-CEU welcomed three new members: the Ukrainian Association of Spatial Planners (ASP-UC), the DIST of Turin, and the SUDA of Georgia. The ASP-UC, young but skilled, will play a key role in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The DIST, an inter-university department in Turin, formalized its membership after years of informal collaboration. The SUDA, a Georgian public agency, coordinates the country’s spatial and urban development policy. The assembly also saw the participation of young planners in the afternoon workshop, with discussions on topics such as large-scale housing transformation and social and digital innovation in public housing districts. The next workshop will be held in Naples in April 2024 and will contribute to the next meeting of the Davos Baukultur Alliance, linked to the World Economic Forum.
