Analisi del tessuto socio-economico di Mykolaiv

Abstract

Per quantificare i danni del conflitto armato e poter quindi pianificare efficacemente la futura ricostruzione post-bellica del tessuto urbano, la città e UNECE hanno avviato il progetto UN4MykolaivTaskforce, mirato a realizzare un Masterplan per la ricostruzione della città di Mykolaiv, con l’obiettivo di innovare rispetto allo status pre-conflitto. L’obiettivo per la città è di “Build back better”, migliorando l’impianto urbano, richiamando la popolazione e attirando nuovi investimenti per diventare un centro economico dinamico. Per poter pianificare le misure di politica economica ed identificare best practices per la ricostruzione e il miglioramento delle condizioni socio-economiche ed ambientali, una attività preliminare che riveste particolare importanza è avere ben chiaro il quadro storico del tessuto socio-economico di Mykolaiv, al fine di identificare le sue peculiarità industriali e gli elementi di forza e di criticità prima dello scoppio del conflitto armato. L’obiettivo di questo contributo è di realizzare questa analisi, osservando le principali caratteristiche del contesto economico e sociale di Mykolaiv prima dello scoppio della guerra.
